Administration Assistant

(Temporary part-time - 18hrs per week)


Metford Community Baptist Church is seeking expressions of interest for an Administration Assistant.   The role includes a wide variety of administration tasks and would suit someone who enjoys multitasking, liaising with a variety of people, someone who is warm and approachable, can work both independently and within a team environment and has a high level of organisational skills.


Essential Criteria:

  • Actively involved in the life of Metford Community Baptist Church
  • Sound knowledge of Microsoft Office 
  • Administration skills and/or experience
  • Professional phone manner
  • Time management skills and the ability to prioritise work
  • Strong communication skills with ability to listen, respond and build rapport across diverse groups
  • Ability to work within a team and on their own
  • Reliable and dependable
  • Current Working With Children Check (WWCC)



  • Experience with Elvanto
  • Experience with IT network administration


This is a temporary part-time, 12-month position, salary package will align with the NSW & ACT Baptist Churches recommendations.
